In Native American culture the thunderbird represents power, protection and strength. In this workshop with Edie you will create a windchime as you learn some traditional Navajo metalsmithing techniques using authentic Navajo-made tools. You'll paint your patina with fire and come away with a piece you will be proud to display.
All materials necessary for this class are included.
Tools: 2 pairs pliers (chain or flat nose), spongeback sanders in varying grits within 80-800.
Edie enjoys giving you the tools to make creativity an easy undertaking. Edie is an experienced instructor in various art forms such as metalsmithing, mixed media and textile arts.
